Firstly, not sure if you know but I love the movie titled "The Blue Lagoon" starring Brooke Shields (she is so young, natural and pretty). The film is from 1980, so way before I was born, however I took a punt while in ASDA one day. Browsing the DVD section, I cam across this DVD for £3. It looked very interesting and I honestly thought it was not exactly breaking the bank!

Got this pic from Amazon websiteThe movie is one of my favorites as I love that it is so simple. It is very sweet and innocent. Even the clothing and the unkempt hair is cool. I like the story line. Some kids stranded on an island, not knowing much about life but learning along the way. It is a coming-of-age story. Also, just my opinion but it shows how we can actually live simply and be happy. They have nothing on the island, they seem happy as there is no major bad people on the island with the, It is just that they are alone. But all they have is love and each other, until they are rescued (plus they have a baby).
It is just like my little life. Milo is my everything. I never knew I could feel like that about something but I honestly love him to bits. He is so special to me. I love my family & Milo is part of that.
The other reasons for Blue Lagoon, could be that it rain enough here in Wales, that we could be considered blue. Especially when you watch the BBC weather. Huge Blue patch over the UK!
Plus, I want to go to the Blue Lagoon in many countries. Malta & Iceland especially.

The colours are just so impressive. I really love the colour turquoise. It is my birthstone too. Lucky me!
Through a google search I have found there is a blue lagoon in Wales too. I must put that down as a future stop some time in the near future.
Time to play with Milo and rub his little belly. :)
